The FP brings you a regular digest of forward thinking and truth about why you really can’t stop overeating, ignoring any criticism and cries of pain from the diet and fitness industries.

I'm really pleased to be writing my first instalment of the official FP blog. One of my course members said in a post in our forum that The Food Philosophy is the start of a revolution - and she's right. The revolution starts here.

One of the things you might have noticed about every single diet related article in a newspaper, advice on TV or radio or even medical advice from your GP - I mean ANY advice that you can find today on the subject of weight loss - is that it's all exactly the same. It may well be wrapped up in a fancy descriptions and described as different, but when you get down to the actual work that YOU have to do to make the method work, nothing has changed. You have to use your willpower to stick to some prescribed eating pattern, whether you're being told what to eat or how much to eat, you still stop yourself from straying off the path and the more that time goes by on whatever diet or healthy eating plan you're using, the more difficult it gets... until, oops! You break it and then the familiar downward spiral into days, weeks or months of overeating begins.

You think it's your fault. You might manage to get back up, brush yourself down and try the same diet again - after all, it's not the diet's fault that YOU didn't have the willpower to stick to it. Then exactly the same thing happens again. This continues until you find another diet that says it's different. Then the same thing happens again...and again...and again.

Sometimes for years.

When I say diet I mean any advice that is out there at the moment in the press, on the internet or in diet books. And that includes, believe it or not, healthy eating, sensible eating and calorie counting. All of which might sound like they're not a diet but when you look at them closely they're nothing else but another way of saying 'diet'.

You do not fail at diets. You're not weak. You don't let yourself down when you can't stick to a simple healthy eating plan. It's the diet that fails you!

The statistics prove it. 98 per cent of dieters fail to keep weight off in the long term.

That's only a 2 per cent success rate!

The diet industry is the most successful failed business in the world.

Even though everyone knows dieting (in all its disguises) doesn't work, it still seems to be the only advice you can get - and that's because you keep on paying your hard earned money to the people who give you the advice that doesn't work!

Now there's something that really is different. The Food Philosophy will show you how to stop overeating without you having to use willpower to stop yourself from 'breaking a diet' or 'falling off the wagon'. And so that I don't sound hypocritical about the money side between now and Christmas, you can enrol on the course and pay in the sixth week IF you are satisfied with the course.

If you think this is too good to be true, it's really not. It's because I know that you will love the course and that it will change your life. I put a lot of hard work into coaching you and I feel pretty confident that you'll be glad to pay me when you've got all of the fabulous benefits of being a Food Philosophy student.

It all happens in the first couple of weeks when it slowly dawns of you for the first time that you really don't have to spend the rest of your life struggling with weight and overeating.

It's a fantastic feeling.

Why don't you drop me a line at sue@foodphilosophy.co.uk and find out more or just enrol. You've got nothing to lose because you don't have to pay until the sixth week!

Hopefully, I'll hear from you soon.
